September Calendar

All events are open to all Mensa members, and to guests who accompany Mensa members. Events in public places (restaurants, pool halls, etc.) are also open to the public – and are especially open to prospective members.
RSVPs are not required, except as noted. Think "big party requiring lots of in-advance logistical planning."
Hosts/hostesses sometimes invite nonmembers – sometimes not even prospective members – to attend. Cool! New friends to make! They also sometimes have a dog/cat/other-allergy-source on site, and/or ask smokers to step outside (and downwind). See "Calendar Deadline" below (1st or 2nd Monday) for details. If this is a concern for you, then call ahead (or look for specifics in the announcement). If this isn't a concern for you, then just show up.
Regardless of your concerns (or lack thereof), it never hurts to check out the Orange County Mensa Online Calendar Adjunct ("OCMOCA" to the Illuminati) for the latest updates. No password required! www.orange.us.mensa.org /calendar.htm
To get an announcement of your event into the calendar – perhaps with some photos from last month's event – please see "Calendar Deadline" below (1st or 2nd Monday). See the same place for the calendar’s privacy policy (on-line/in-print/photos/etc.) and other details.

12:35 PM     (almost) FREE LUNCH
